| ACCESS MISSION STATEMENT: To increase the number of Ashtabula County students and citizens continuing their formal education beyond high school. ACCESS will create a greater awareness in all children and parents of the need and opportunity for higher education and will assist in preparing for advanced education and in discovering and obtaining the financial resources necessary to go beyond. | Storybook Acres We are a non-profit Animal Rescue for Disabled Animals. We have been in business for 7 years, serving farm animals and companion animals that are blind, deaf, missing limbs, deformed joints and bones. We do not breed, sell, give away or adopt out animals. The animals that come to live at Storybook Acres live out their life here with medical care, love and safety. We are a member of the Humane Society of the United States. Storybook Acres works closely with United Animal Nation, Happy Trails Rescue, and the American Sanctuary Association. We provide educational programs to schools about responsible pet ownership and the need to have pets spayed/neutered. We sell our published children’s books about the animals, goat milk soap and have fundraisers to support the animals. These items are available at the farm or on our website. |
